Robin Cabral

About Me

Hello and Welcome!

My name is Robin and I am a Ph.D. Student at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in the Luso-Afro-Brazilian Studies and Theories Program where I am studying Video Games through the lenses of Lusophone Literary Theories and works.

My areas of interest include Video Game Studies, Video Game Design, Fernando Pessoa, Gamefication, Heteronyms, and Portuguese Poetry.

In my free time, I spend a lot of time with my friends and family. I play a lot of video games with my friends and I also train for Spartan Races.

I am a Freelance Translator with my languages being English, Portuguese, and Catalan. For more information, please click the button above.

I believe storytelling is an extremely tool that people use to tell meaningful stories and ideas. Video Games are the next medium to take these ideas we have and spread them around the world. It is an art that I believe holds an infinite amount of power and it is time and look at them crucially. I hope to help with this push and have these conversations.
